Zotero Basics In-Person

Learn how to use Zotero, an open source citation management program that allows you to collect and organize references and documents. Zotero allows you to create references manually, but also supports a powerful browser extension that can clip items directly from the web. Items are stored in your library, which you can organize, tag, and search. This session will go over the basics of using Zotero: adding references, attaching files, organizing your library, syncing to the web, and creating formatted citations.

Please bring your PC or Mac to the session. This session will focus on Zotero Standalone but should also be applicable to users who choose to use Zotero for Firefox instead. You may download and install Zotero in anticipation of the session, but some time will be given at the beginning if participants wish to do so at that time.
