Getting the Most Out of SciFinder - Webinar Online

Are you looking for the latest and greatest literature in biology, engineering, medicine, and more? Have you tried SciFinder? This powerful tool from the Chemical Abstracts Service (CAS) isn't just for chemists!

In this session we'll demonstrate how you can use SciFinder to search for a wide range of scientific literature. We’ll walk through SciFinder’s unique tools for searching specific protein and nucleotide sequences, using the CAS Lexicon to find common names of unfamiliar chemicals, and finding suppliers for lab and industrial chemicals. If you are a SciFinder power user, we invite you to attend and share your ideas, tips, and tricks for using SciFinder in research and teaching.

All are welcome to attend and learn more about SciFinder. If you have not already, we encourage you to sign up for a SciFinder account before the session - instructions for registration can be found on the SciFinder guide (https://guides.library.duq.edu/SciFinder).

This session will be recorded, and a link to the recording will be provided to all registrants along with a copy of the presentation slides.
