Navigating Unspoken Norms of Faculty Career Success

Navigating Unspoken Norms of Faculty Career Success In-Person

Have you ever…

  • Had trouble explaining the value you bring to your teaching, scholarship, or service to others?
  • Faced frictions or tensions about the expectations in your field?
  • Felt that the perspective you bring to your work is not as highly valued as other perspectives?

This session will explore the challenges of documenting the impact of your teaching, scholarship, and service when facing seemingly disparate norms in your field and on campus.

The facilitators will guide participants in a conversation about these challenges as well as potential strategies, resources and partnerships to address them.

Lunch will be provided. Space is limited so please register early.

This session is intended for faculty.
