Video Resources for Your Classroom & Course Site Online
Presenter: Jakob Dravk, Health Sciences Library Intern
Co-Presenter: Carolyn Baker, MLIS, MOT, Health Sciences Librarian
Join us for a session designed for students, faculty and staff new to Gumberg Library's resources. We will go over how to use the library's resources to support the use of streaming video as a learning tool. Learners will become familiar with ways to locate streaming video, its benefits, and how to integrate it into the course.
Following completion of this session, the learner will be able to:
- Find streaming videos using DUQSearch
- Identify Gumberg databases that include videos
- Describe the advantages of using streaming video in the classroom and online
- Integrate streaming videos into Canvas using clips/embedding
- Locate sources that provide copyright guidance related to using video in educational settings
The session will be recorded. If you are unable to attend live, please register anyway and you will receive the recording. If you have any questions, feel free to email dravkj@duq.edu.
