Are your textbook costs too high? Do your classes require course materials that you don’t use often? This session will teach you how to talk about your course material concerns with your peers and instructors in a productive and impactful way.

This session for students will provide: •

  • A brief overview of open resources and equitable education
  • Beginners’ advocacy skills
  • Tools and tricks for talking with your instructors about course materials
  • Space for students to talk with each other
