Day of the Dead craft making workshop In-Person
The Day of the Dead, or Día de los Muertos, is an ancient tradition in many Latin American countries. It is a time when families remember their departed loved ones and celebrate their lives. Join Professor Mildred López Escudero at 3 to learn more about Day of the Dead customs and symbolism. You can make paper flowers to decorate the library’s altar, and send messages to your loved ones on cut out monarch butterflies. Free and open to all. Sponsored by the Department of Modern Languages and Literatures, Gumberg Library, and Spiritan Campus Ministry.
