Open Educational Resources (OER): Faculty Workshop In-Person
Open Educational Resources: Faculty Workshop This event is designed to provide faculty members with a core understanding of the need for and use of open educational resources (OERs). Faculty will learn about the needs that OERs address, how open resources can be high-quality while being offered for free, and benefits that OERs provide beyond cost savings. At the end of the workshop, interested attendees will be invited to engage with an open text in their field. Breakfast will be provided. Co-sponsored by the Center for Teaching Excellence.
