The Crystallization of the Fragmented Self In-Person

This art exhibit represents my personal experience of my honors fellowship thesis “Neurophenomenology and Psychosis: Validating Adverse Experience”. The exhibit will be a walk-through art show about psychosis, trauma, the “schizophrenic” self, and healing. Through canvas paintings, sketches, poetry, and photography, I hope to help people understand the reality of dissociation and advocate that these adverse experiences deserve dignity and validation. I also hope to evoke empathy towards and acceptance of the “schizophrenic” mind.
