Day of the the Dead
The Día de los Muertos (Day of the Dead) is an ancient tradition in Latin America when families remember their departed loved ones and celebrate their lives.
Join us in celebrating this unique holiday on October 23 when our Day of the Dead altar will be decorated and blessed in Gumberg Library's Popular Reading Room.
Refreshments will include spicy hot chocolate and traditional bread known as pan de muerte.
Further details are forthcoming.
This event is sponsored by the Department of Modern Languages and Literatures, Gumberg Library, and Spiritan Campus Ministry.
